We're Hiking So Others Don't Have To

On November 8th, a group of coworkers from the EA Syracuse office and beyond will be hiking a portion of the Onondaga Branch of the Finger Lakes Trail - covering at least 6 kilometers - as part of a fundraiser for Water for People, an organization working to ensure everyone has access to safe, reliable water and sanitation services.

Why 6 kilometers?

Because that's the average distance women and girls in many parts of the world walk every single day to collect water for their families. Often, it's not even clean. This daily journey keeps girls out of school, limits opportunities, and puts health and safety at risk.

We're hiking in solidarity - to raise awareness, to raise funds, and to remind ourselves that something as simple as turning on a tap is a privilege not everyone shares.

Your support helps Water for People build sustainable water systems and empower communities around the world. Every step we take on the trail is a step toward a future where no one has to walk for water.
