50-mile qualifier (Jan 2022)
Welcome! Henry & I are taking on the Umstead 100 footrace on April 2, 2022. Our goal is to raise $1 for every mile we plan to run with an ultimate goal of $200. Of course we'd be happy to go over and above the goal to support the cause of Water For People.
We're fundraising on behalf of Water For People, an organization who is bringing clean water and sanitation solutions to communities to end the world's water crisis.
Safe water, reliable sanitation services, and proper hygiene education can change everything. Children are able to stay in school, and people live longer, healthier lives. Access to these basic necessities increases education levels and prosperity for individuals, communities, and countries.
