D's Birthday WASH campaign!
You can change everything by being a part of my Ripple Effect. I’m fundraising on behalf of Water For People, an organization who is bringing clean water and sanitation solutions to communities to end the world's water crisis.
This year, I want to bring awareness to the dire need for access to Sanitation and Hygiene in addition to save drinking water. I also want to use this opportunity to emphasize that the urgency required to address WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) needs in every continent. According to the UN's sustainable development goal 6, we have a lot of work to do to ensure sustainable WASH access to billions of people across the world by 2030. Water for people works in several countries in Latin America, Africa and in India.
Safe water, reliable sanitation services, and proper hygiene education can change everything. Children are able to stay in school, and people live longer, healthier lives. Access to these basic necessities increases education levels and prosperity for individuals, communities, and countries.
